Welcome to Damson Jewellery
about your jewellery Sizing
Ring sizes are based on a standardised alphabetical system from J-Z.

We specify the ring sizes we offer alongside items on the site, although in some instances it may be possible to have the style made up in larger or smaller sizes.

If you don't know your ring size it's always best to be measured professionally by a local jeweller. If you are interested in a band ring - such as our coast ring, ask to be measured for a wedding band. The sizing for band rings tends to be slightly larger so that the ring can pass comfortably over the knuckle. Remember that hands are like feet – they swell when you get hot, so try to be measured when you are at a comfortable temperature.

With bangles, we suggest you measure the inside diameter of one you have already got to see if they will fit.

All of our jewellery is hand made, so it can normally be customised to fit, just email or give us a call for help and advice.
If you look after your jewellery it will last longer and look better.

Caring For Your Jewellery
• Do store your jewellery separately in boxes or pouches to avoid scratches.

• Do remove your rings when washing up to prevent a greasy film building up on the back of stones or settings.

• Do fasten chains and store them flat.

• Don't expose jewellery to household chemicals, perfume and hairspray which may cause them to disintegrate or discolour.

Cleaning Your Jewellery
All silver jewellery will tarnish with time. To keep it looking its best either polish it gently with a silver cloth or wash it in warm soapy water, using a soft toothbrush for awkward crevices.

Most gold and gold-plated jewellery, diamonds and other gemstones can also be cleaned in warm soapy water, brushing gently with a soft toothbrush to remove dirt and grime. With pearls, wipe them gently with a soft, damp lintfree cloth after wear.

Colours
We try our best to illustrate colours accurately, but with digital reproduction, we can't guarantee the true colour of the jewellery will be exactly as shown.
